Technician Corey had to come fix a leaking kitchen drain line unseen behind my walls. I knew it wasn't going to be an easy in and out type job. Corey got right to work, no hesitation, and started busting it out, and it didn't take long for him to find the busted pipe. Really nice guy, cleaned up afterwards, and even answered a couple questions I had about doing some do-it-myself light plumbing fixes. David from Shaw Plumbing did a great job for us. First of all, we called in the morning about our kitchen sink clog that we were unable to unclog with "home remedies," and he was at our house by noon that day. He reviewed the plumbing system to be sure he knew where the clog was going to go when it was dislodged. Then he brought in his "snake" and cleared out the accumulated sludge coating our pipes. He spent time going over best practices for avoiding this problem in the future, and then before he left, he made sure our dishwasher was draining properly. I called Shaw after another company cancelled on me 1.5 hrs before my appointment. They were very understanding on the phone when I was very stressed, and even though they were only able to offer me an appt the next day, they called me back twice and were ultimately able to send a tech over the same afternoon.
The tech was straight-shooting and very honest about my options, but was willing to try multiple approaches to clear my main line and did a fast job, and also took the time to clean up the mess we had to make accessing the cleanout.
The only downside is that the price was quite high for a quick job, but I was in a pickle and didn't have much choice.

Terrin and Ryan completely rebuilt my washing room drain and did a fantastic job. They made sure to properly vent the drain, and everything was brought up to code. They were punctual, friendly, and kept me informed on what they were doing during and after the job was complete.
